Right Now the majority of Tanzania rural population are busy in the farm. Their last year business is what we are enjoying today. This means tomorrow begins today thus the preparation hinges of the availability of necessary infrastructures be the seeds of the right variety, be the fertilizer at the right prices be the information on how will the rain be in the next few months. Of late we have see increased precision in weather forecasting at least for only few days ahead. For effective and productive forecasting farmers need a minimum of four months which is the duration of most staple annual crops. A pre- forecast will help farmer and the advisory services of type of varieties to grow in a particular locality including the type of management to be applied. New high tech equipment and global coordination will be needed. But also local level simple equipment at ward level will be crucial in increasing precision.
